Portage Avenue Part 1

This was Saturday morning.  It was a little chilly, makes me wonder what I am going to do when the temperature drops into the negatives. Only time will tell!!

I love walking and discovering new things.  I just never thought that what I discovered was that the closer you get to Downtown the nicer it would become!!

Portage @ Sherbrook St.  The top picture is just a cool building I never knew the name of.  The lower was once the site of a Deaf School here in Winnipeg for many years.  Later changed into Lions Manor.

I just loved this mural.  A positive message and the way I look at the West end.  I may wear rose coloured glasses but I wouldn't take them off for the world.

New University of Winnipeg building. . . . Still not finished. . . . but already had the grand opening!!

Pride in Winnipeg is HUGE. . . . Sometimes misplaced!!
